Back to HomeSix things that matter when choosing an AI course
Instructors with field experience
Course leads hold their own professional histories in machine learning, software development, and research — not only teaching credentials.
Flexible session access
All sessions are recorded. You can follow the material at your own pace within each week, and access recordings after the cohort ends.
Written, individual feedback
Every assessment is reviewed personally by the course lead and returned with written comments, not a score alone.
Sequenced curriculum
Each week builds directly on the previous. No orphaned modules or optional extras — the course structure has a considered logic.
Fixed pricing in Ringgit
Fees are stated clearly in MYR and cover all materials, recordings, and office hour access. There are no separate module charges.
Kept current between cohorts
Course material is reviewed and updated before each cohort opens, addressing changes in the field that are relevant to learners.
Instructors who have done the work, not only studied it
The people who designed and lead each Cendekia course spent years working in the areas they teach. Aishah built modelling systems in financial services. Farizul designed data pipelines at technology companies. Siti conducted doctoral research in natural language processing. When they give feedback on your work, they are drawing on that experience — not just on a marking rubric.
- Instructors with seven or more years of professional practice
- Curriculum informed by real project experience
- Feedback grounded in how these problems appear in practice
What this means for your learning
Examples used in sessions come from actual projects, not textbooks. When you encounter something in an assessment that is harder than expected, the person reviewing it will have navigated something similar.
Up-to-date tooling, explained carefully
The courses use current, widely-used tools — PyTorch, pandas, numpy — introduced at a pace that allows you to understand what is happening rather than only how to run the code.
Contemporary tools, introduced with care
There is a difference between being shown how to run a function and understanding when and why to use it. Cendekia courses take the time to explain the latter, particularly in the Applied Python course where we deal with tools that developers frequently reach for without fully understanding.
- PyTorch, NumPy, and pandas used throughout Applied Python
- Notebooks and scripts used in combination, as in real projects
- Content reviewed before each cohort for relevance
Access to people, not only content
Weekly office hours are live sessions where you can bring a question directly. If the live time does not work for you, questions submitted in advance receive a written response. Assessment feedback is written personally, not auto-generated. We keep cohort sizes manageable to make this practical.
- Weekly live office hours, questions welcome in advance
- Individual written feedback on every project submission
- Small cohorts to keep support quality high
Why cohort size matters
A large cohort makes individual feedback economically impractical. We limit enrolment numbers so that the quality of support we describe is something we can actually provide, not an aspiration.
Priced for the Malaysian market
Our courses are priced in Ringgit and set at a level that reflects the context of professionals in Malaysia — not adjusted from a global price list designed for other markets.
Transparent fees, no hidden charges
The listed price covers the complete course: recorded sessions, materials, office hour access, and individual assessment feedback. There is no additional charge for course notes, no premium tier for feedback, and no upsell to a higher package after enrolment.
- All-inclusive pricing — no separate module fees
- Fees stated in MYR, no currency conversion surprises
- Short course option at RM 580 for a lower initial commitment
What you leave with at the end
Assessments are designed to produce work you can refer back to — a working model, a written analysis, an annotated notebook — not exercises that disappear after submission. Participants in the research reading course leave with a reading method they can use independently. Those in the applied Python course leave with a set of working deliverables that build on each other across the eight weeks.
- Project deliverables you can keep and build on
- A transferable reading method for AI research papers
- Stronger foundation for more advanced applied work
Assessments that serve your development
We design assessments around what will be useful to you after the course, not what is easiest to mark. That means project work rather than multiple-choice tests, and feedback that explains reasoning rather than just marking right and wrong.

Three things that are distinctive about Cendekia
The research reading course
Most AI education focuses on practice. We also offer something unusual: a supported, two-week course in reading primary AI research. Many practitioners want to follow the literature but find papers inaccessible without a guide. We address that directly.
Honest fit conversations before enrolment
We encourage prospective learners to contact us with questions about whether a course is appropriate for their background. We would rather someone not enrol than find themselves underprepared or overqualified halfway through.
A locally rooted school
Cendekia is a Malaysian school. We understand the working context of professionals in Kuala Lumpur and the wider region. Our pricing, our office hours, and the way we communicate reflect that — not a template from elsewhere.
